Hey, I'm Jurgen Sloots
I'm a photographer, mainly nature and wildlife, based in the Netherlands.
Wabi sabi 侘寂 is my current state of mind and I'm exploring the meaning of this philosophy of the art of living.
In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi 侘寂 is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature and man made things.
